Timoney Management, Inc. is owned and operated by Craig Timoney. He is a franchisee of Burger King® Corporation headquartered in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Craig moved from New Jersey to open his first restaurant (BK #3142) in Bedford, PA in 1981. The restaurant was an immediate success since it was the first major chain in the area. With the help of his parents he was ready to open a second restaurant (BK #4519) in Martinsburg, West Virginia in 1985. He continued to expand his business and in 1988, the Burger King® (#6237) in Roaring Spring, PA was opened. During a 1990 nationwide contest to measure speed of service, cleanliness, and food quality Roaring Spring took 1st place thanks to the work of our fantastic team of employees. With the winning franchise fee Craig opened another restaurant (#7786) in Keyser, WV in 1993. After locating a property nearby, he decided to open another restaurant (#8823) in Romney, WV in 1995. It was in 2000, that Craig opened his latest restaurant (#13359) in Hedgesville, WV.
Craig has since received plaques for 30 years of service from the NFA, the 90's challenge award, Mid-Atlantic Community Involvement Award, Mid-Atlantic Operations Excellence Award, the Crew Incentive Sales Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Spring Cove School District. In addition to those, our team has partnered with the local schools in our restaurant areas to promote the honor roll system as well as donating computers to improve the technology in the schools. None of this would have been possible without the incredible team we have had over the years.
Starting in 2010, our team participated in a nationwide effort to change the image of Burger King®. Our organization decided to invest in the long-term success of all six restaurants and completed construction in the summer of 2012 on our last restaurant in Bedford, PA. Our team strives to maintain a positive image and represent the brand to the highest standards. We are constantly looking for employees we feel share the same initiative.
